Top-Down Market Research, LLC (TDMR) is a company dedicated to helping investors attain greater profits from their stock and mutual fund investments.

In 1990, the company's founder and chief researcher, Michael W. Henry, began investigating the use of artificial intelligence and its ability to forecast the financial markets. While working by day as an aerospace engineer developing hardware for space shuttle experiments, Michael spent his evenings developing computer programs that could learn how to forecast future price moves in the financial markets.

It took 8 years for Michael to create the databases and to develop and test the proprietary AI based systems. Each month, the AI systems are run to generate the latest stock market forecasts that are published on this web site. In July of 1999, the first online edition of the AI Stock Forecast was published on the internet.
